When are the Fireworks on Kiawah Island this year?

The first show is at Night Heron Park, and it is followed by a second firework show on the beach is set off near The Sanctuary. Here are the details for this year:

What activities and events are happening this year for 4th of July?
Kiawah Island is teeming with activities during the entire 4th of July week! At the moment, some of our favorite events have not yet been confirmed, including the Annual Patriot Bike Parade, Celebrations at The Sanctuary, and the Teen Night IndepenDANCE.
However, we’re thrilled to say the following events have been announced! Please keep in mind that dates and times are subject to change. There may also be new protocols in place due to COVID.
Sand Sculpting Content on the Beach
After a relaxing morning enjoying time with family and friends, it’s time to head over to the beach for the annual sand sculpting contest from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm! Admission is complimentary, and reservations aren’t required. Simply show up near the Sanctuary’s beach access and start designing your unique work of art. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams this year for the most creative and best presentation.
Even if you don’t participate, it’s always amazing to see what others have created! We do recommend bringing your own sand tools since there will only be a limited amount provided. Additionally, keep in mind that there are no metal shovels allowed on the beach per town ordinance.
Salute from the Shore on Kiawah
Planning to celebrate the red, white, and blue from the beach? The Salute from the Shore gives a fun opportunity to salute our armed forces from the shoreline! This annual event is a military flyover on July 4th that starts towards the North Carolina border and ends south of Kiawah Island.
You’ll be able to wave as you see aircraft like F-18s and other privately owned vintage planes soar above! The estimated flyover time for our area is typically around 1:15 pm, but it does depend on the year. Check the most up-to-date information for this year’s Salute on their website.
Fourth of July Festival at Night Heron Park
The Fourth of July Festival at Night Heron Park on Kiawah Island is the spot to enjoy with your entire family if you’re looking for a lively place to celebrate! This year there will be live music, a photo booth, and crafts available. Our favorites are tie-dye and all the carnival games. However, offerings may be modified this year. Menu items usually include burgers, hot dogs, ribs, pulled pork, and watermelon. Stay until after the sun goes down to see the fireworks at 9:15 pm.
