The charm of this coastal retreat begins in the home’s two-story entry. Masterfully placed windows welcome abundant natural light across the polished hardwood floors of the gracious foyer and introduce the voluminous aesthetic found throughout the residence.
A thoughtfully conceived open floor plan combines living and dining areas for a great room that is open to the kitchen. Large windows frame gorgeous fairway views and two sets of French patio doors open onto a spacious deck and screened porch, which foster inspired outdoor entertainment alongside the golf course.
The home has plenty of space for a family to spread out in. Hang out on the rear deck area to enjoy the sunshine or have your meals outside in the covered, screened porch eating area. The spacious kitchen area makes cooking meals a breeze, while the adjoining living room and a family room upstairs provide places to unwind after a long day on the courts, course, or beach! The family room has a daybed with a trundle for additional guests.

Nice house and great location
We had a great week. Lots of sleeping space and loved having upstairs den, screened porch, grill area and LOVE having outdoor shower and use of garage. Lots of tvs, which was good. Bathrooms and kitchen were somewhat dated, but kitchen appliances and supplies were fine.

Excellent Vacation
101 Surfscoter Lane was the PERFECT vacation home for our family. A short walk to the beach was the primary reason I selected the property, but it was so much more than that. We absolutely took advantage of the well-equipped kitchen, the gas grill, and the screened in porch. Finally, I jokingly mentioned in passing that we could not find an ice cream scooper, and Michael from ESPM hand delivered one within a few hours. �� We would definitely select this house again!

This was our second stay. The house was clean and well equipped .....great location .....4 minute walk to beach...beautiful view of golf course from main living area and back deck and screened porch. We plan to return Hillary at ESPM is a gem......very accommodating and responsive ........thumbs up to the owners and ESPM

Golf Weekend
House was perfect for a guys golf weekend. Kitchen was fully stocked with ample supplies. Short drive to multiple golf courses on the island. Would definitely stay here again. Had to postpone this trip from earlier this year and the property management team was very helpful and accommodating with selecting new dates.

Perfect Weekend Away
We had a wonderful weekend in Kiawah at 101 Surfscooter. We were extremely nervous to travel and stay away in the midst of a pandemic, but the house allowed us to relax and not worry about a thing. The house was very clean, everything that we expected and very close to the beach (just a few minutes away walking). The rooms/layout were great for our family of five - and since we couldn't eat out, the screened porch was a perfect setting for delicious take out!

Ideal getaway home
We (nine of us) thoroughly enjoyed our stay the 101 Surfscoter Ln. We were happy the house next door was not under construction while we were there allowing us to enjoy the peace and quiet. Loved watching the golfers. We actually played Cougar Point one of the days. Short walk to the beach. Loved having 2 refrigerators. The ice maker in the kitchen was not working, but we were able to get ice from the downstairs freezer which was fine. Excellent new grill. Wonderful big porch and deck. Ideal home 2 families!

Super House!
Our grown children and their children stayed in this beautiful house for our family vacation and it couldn't have been better. The close proximity to the beach (and for us, the Sandcastle) made it so much more fun when lugging all the beach gear. The house had everything we could possibly need - plenty of storage space in the kitchen, an abundance of kitchenware, etc. And the screen porch with its restful view of the golf course was perfect for the grandkids to gather and dine.

Kiawah family vacation
The home was immaculately clean, and better than we expected. The floor plan was open, and filled with bright, natural light. The kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals for our family of 7, plus a few guests on two nights. My only suggestion is replace the gas grill. The LP tank was frozen shut, but the rental management company had delivered a new filled tank before our arrival, which we were able to switch out. The grill body and components were pretty well corroded, and the grill was too small for more than 5 meals. Everything else about the house was PERFECT!!! And the location, just a very short walk to the beach. Kiawah is simply magical, spending time with family at the beach, biking, walking, shopping at Freshfields. Dinner at Osprey Point’s Cherrywood BarBQue is always delicious and fun to watch the alligators from the deck above. My two teenage grandsons went for a bike ride after dinner one evening, and had a deer approach them, walked up to both of them and was licking their hands! I think it was enjoying the saltiness of their skin! I highly recommend this home for a family vacation. We will rent it again next year.

Had a great time with my whole family celebrating my daughters upcoming graduation. Kiawah is so peaceful and the house was in great condition. Short walk to the beach and easy access to main road. We will be returning!

Loved this House!
I cannot say enough good stuff about this house! The layout was perfect for my family of 5 plus in-laws. The location was perfect, as we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching golfers on the hole right behind the house! The walk to the beach was very close, as the path begins just two houses away. I was a little concerned because the pictures showed that the bathrooms need updating, but they were very clean and it was not a big deal at all. The location more than made up for it.

A beautiful, peaceful home!
Our family couldn't have been happier with the location and amenities of this beautiful home! We loved the screened-in dining, the well equipped kitchen and outside gas grill for family meals for a group ranging from 6 mo to 94 yrs old! ESPM staff provided super connections to the local activities and services. We chose to rent bikes for the long weekend to enjoy the beach and ride to golf resorts for lunch out! The golf course view certainly entertained us with golf action, then evening strolls at dusk. ESPM staff was flexible with our requests for early arrival and delayed departure. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood!

Great Location and House
We stayed at this house for Christmas and had family come to town from VA, NC and KY. The location was great! We were a quick walk to the beach and a nice location within Kiawah. The house was nice and open downstairs and all of the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are pretty outdated but we had everything we needed to cook a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner and entertain as needed throughout the week. Overall we were very satisfied with the house and would recommend it to others looking to rent on Kiawah!

Great house, great location, very clean and well equipped, washer and dryer were great, pleasing decor....very happy .....but a few suggestions to improve the experience: mattress in master bedroom needs to be replaced....the nearest beach access has been closed for months and it is definitely not a two minute walk to the beach as is still convenient, but not two minutes.....very happy with this property and ESPM Rentals

Manager Response: Thank you so much for your helpful feedback! The master bedroom mattress has now been replaced with a high quality (and very comfortable!) new mattress. The beach access closest to the house was closed temporarily due to construction work on nearby facilities but that work has since been completed and that beach access open again. The distance from the house to Kiawah's famous 10 mile long stretch of beach is now a super convenient two minute walk! I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will stay with us again soon!

Great Getaway!
This rental property is a beautiful home in a perfect location. We found the home to be accurately described. It was very clean, spacious for a family of 5, well maintained, well functioning A/C; kitchen was properly stocked and the interior was decorated nicely. The view of the golf course out the back window was gorgeous.The quiet, spacious beach was a 5 min walk (tops) from the house. The cute town center was a 20-25 minute bike ride on mostly shaded, family-friendly trails or a 5-10 minute drive away. The town center has great shopping, restaurants, grocery store and more. A trip to Charleston (40-45 minute drive) while you are visiting Kiawah is a must! The Property Management Group, ESPM, was very easy to work with, very responsive and organized. The only suggestion I might add (although this is very minor and would just be helpful to the guests) would be to provide a TV cheat sheet. We could have really used a local Satellite network guide for the tv stations. We have rented other properties that provide this document in the guest guide and it is always helpful. Also, (very minor), if the light switches on the first floor were labeled it would have saved a lot of time as there are many switches and the wall placement does not always correlate to the light they control. A little label maker indicating which light it corresponds to would have been super helpful.....again, just ideas we have seen in other house rentals that we always appreciate. Lastly, beach chairs are not included with this rental. Originally this was a negative for our family coming from a long distance. However, ESPM provided us with a local company, that will rent the chairs to you - including drop off and pick up! Huge help and they were fantastic to deal with too.

Great location and great home!
Perfect setup for 3 families, kids all slept in the bunk bed room, and the adults each had their own bedroom.
Only thing to complain about was the downstairs AC system had a hard time keeping the place cool. Upstairs unit was having to work overtime.
Overall very satisfied, and we've already discussed renting this again next spring for another family vacation.

Property was in excellent condition, very short walk to beach as described. House was extremely well stocked with kitchen supplies needed for cooking and eating (Cups/measuring cups, plates, utensils, bowls, grill, appliances, etc). Only downside was no DVD player for the rainy day we had but having Netflix as an option pleasantly filled the void. Great vacation!

Aside from the icemaker which NEVER got fixed and the mattresses which were not good,(memory foam which had gotten to the point of memory loss)a very nice location with enough room for all 8 of us plus a 2 year old to spread out and have a wonderful vacation.

beautiful beach week
First time renting with ESPM and we were so happy with this home and our experience with ESPM. Home was very well appointed - with comfortable furnishings. Walk to the beach was about 5 min through bike path across the lane. We enjoyed cooking on the grill, eating on the lovely screened porch overlooking the golf course. Kitchen has tons of utensils and gadgets - even a blender and crock pot. Extra nice was the spare family room upstairs where the kids could watch TV or videos away from the main living room. That spare room has a daybed trundle now (not in pics) so you can fit a couple more kids. All in all we loved the rental and our beach week!! Thanks Hillary and ESPM!

Love This House!!
Love this house!! Perfect for our families--4 adults & 6 children ages 2-13. Quick walk to the beach. Loved the den upstairs for the kids to hang out and watch movies. Kitchen was well stocked--we did not want for anything. Comfy furniture with the exception of the "queen" bed in the downstairs guest room (seemed like this was a double bed on a queen frame). Screened porch was our favorite place to hang out, had coffee every morning overlooking the golf course. Downstairs fridge was key for storing extra drinks & made loading the cooler for the beach very easy. The property manager was very conscientious and responded quickly to our call & was extremely friendly & efficient. Can't wait to stay here again next year!!!

Relaxing week in Kiawah
We had a wonderful stay at the island and house. We had two families share the house with a total of 9 people. The house set up well for the kids, they had their own TV room and area to hang out while the parents enjoyed the screened in porch and downstairs area. The kitchen was well stocked for grilling and cooking. Hillary Harling was a delight to work with and if we return to the island next year we will definitely be returning to this house. Thanks.

Discovering Kiawah
We were first time visitors to Kiawah Island and were there for a wedding. Not knowing what to expect, we arrived to find our accommodations to be large, beautiful, well maintained, and in a location that suited our needs perfectly. The home bordered the 16th hole of a golf course (this alone proved to be very entertaining), and was next to a bike path leading directly to the beach. The plant life was absolutely spectacular, and the beach was one of the best we have ever enjoyed. The expanse was immense, and the sand well packed enough to both bike and run on. In arranging for our accommodations, we dealt directly with Hillary Harling and she was an absolute treat to work with. Not only is she very professional in the way she handled our reservations, questions, and added requests, but she is fun and has a great sense of humor. All of this made the process very enjoyable. I can say without any reservations that we will return to Kiawah Island again and again, and when we do, will make our arrangements through Hillary and ESPM Rentals. Thanks again for a memorable visit.

Great stay at Kiawah
Accommodations were as good or better than described. Great location on the island and the management staff was excellent to work with. I highly recommend.
