1021 Scaup Ct in the Sparrow Pond neighborhood has been newly renovated with updates throughout including newly added fourth bedroom and half bath. Great location, pool and beach access nearby!
Charming cottage is situated in one of the best locations on the Island and is a favorite spot to many vacationers. Located in the popular Sparrow Pond community and close to all of Kiawah's amenities as well as Freshfields Village, this gorgeous cottage offers upscale furnishings, renovated kitchen and baths, Wi-Fi internet, and a spacious screened in porch. There are four bedrooms with plenty of room. Both bathrooms have had a full renovation and have a spa like feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with top of the line appliances and all you need to prepare meals . Full sized washer and dryer.
If you absolutely must work from the home, the twin bedroom does have a comfortable office chair, desk, and a small printer available. This cottage does allow one dog up to 40 lbs for an extra pet fee.
Take a short five minute walk or quick bike ride and you'll be at the ocean's edge in no time.(0.3mi) There are 10 miles of glorious beach to enjoy and you can ride your bike right on the hard packed sand. Enjoy neighborhood community pool at the end of your day on the beach or at one of the many golf courses.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $210 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

The house was in a good location-short walk to the beach and close to the nearby market. TVs in the master bedroom and twin bedroom did not work-we didn’t ask staff for assistance because it was low on the priority list amd there were other tvs for people who wanted them.

Generally, the property and management company made everything easy for a wonderful stay. The house was as described and fit 7 people nicely. Kitchen was well equipped. Towards the end of our week, I did email the management company with a few things that needed some attention at the rental property, but unfortunately did not get a reply so I cannot comment if they were addressed or not.

Great location
Over all a great beach home. Great small kitchen. Wonderful screened in back porch. Fourth bedroom beside half bath has no closet or storage for clothes. Needs more hooks for hanging towels and bathing suites. Need more towels and better quality towels. All mattress need an upgrade.

Beautiful Location and a Great Cozy Lodging
Loved the location and the short walk to the beach, and appreciated the use of the pool for our grandsons. The unit was clean and had a good layout. It was cozier and smaller than I had hoped for, especially the kitchen. The garage and outside area was ideal in storing stuff out of sight from the road. Rearranging the 2 vehicles was a tad cumbersome. Was a bit disappointed in the singular tub since we used it as the master bedroom bathroom AND the grandkids bathing area. The kitchen was nicely set up and easy to use and store things. The wraparound deck was great for our grandsons. The decor was delightful, but the number of pillows was too abundant. It was delightfully airy and attractive. We had a delightful stay. Was disappointed in the lack of drawers and places to store things out of sight, but loved the abundance of televisions!

Overall, a Nice Rental with a few improvements needed
Overall, this was a lovely, clean & well maintained cottage tucked back amongst the trees which provided cool shade.Really enjoyed the screened porch. Would recommend the following to the new homeowners; more towels and large dinner plates & additional wine glasses would be nice. We were a party of 4 & there are 4 bedrooms so obviously meant for larger group but we had 5 large dinner plates & 8 large towels for a week stay. A welcome book with directions to secluded pool would be very nice as well for guests. ESPM provided only one key but were quick with response when we contacted them, & property has lock box. We very much enjoyed the beach, dinner at 46 Wine Bar at Freshfields & Bike riding the community.

Great House!
Great house, great location, very clean and had all we needed. We cooked a lot and though space was tight, we were just fine. Only complaint is someone kept my credit card number when we booked and used it the week we were in Kiawah.

I would definitely contact your card company and Vrbo customer service if you are having an issue with your credit card. We receive the payment info directly from Vrbo so its very secure, our records show that no additional charges were made and we wouldn't charge anything unless approved (for incidentals such as extra housekeeping, extra linens, shipping lost and found items, etc) but I don't see anything additional on your statement. I am sorry that happened and hope the card company fraud department can assist.
Great Location and nice house
We had great weather. Pool was very nice and clean. Flies were an unwanted guest walking to and from the beach. The beach was wonderful. The shops should stay open till later in the evening, during the summer. We went into Charleston for dining, not many places on the Island.

Shout out for ESPM and Sparrow Pond!
Whenever renting a vacation unit there is always an element of uncertainty. Will the property live up to expectations? Is the management company trustworthy and reliable? Having just concluded our weeklong stay at 1021 Sparrow Pond, I can enthusiastically assure you, have no fear!
ESPM was simply superb. The process was simple. Their communication was excellent from start to finish with a friendly and professional demeanor from all members of their team. The property itself was in a excellent location. A legit 5 minute walk (tops) to a gorgeous beach. About as close as you can get on Kiawah to Freshfields. The furniture was comfy in the living room and bedrooms. The abundance of books and games was a nice touch. The deck space was very generous. There was lots of storage beneath the unit. The outdoor shower was very helpful (and even warm). Know that the kitchen is tight. Pay attention to trash days.

Great Family Rental
We had a great stay at 1021 Sparrow Pond. The property was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The 4 bedroom with a common space layout of the property was perfect for a family vacation and not spending all day inside. The large wrap-around porch was ideal for late spring dinners outside. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, neighborhood pool and other island amenities.
Lastly, we can't say enough good things about ESPM. They provided clear communication in advance of arrival, responsive to questions, and even with the chaos of the PGA Championship week, were able to accommodate a last minute request for cleaning mid-stay.

Beautiful cottage
Our family of six had a wonderful stay at this property. The renovations are very well done. Furnishings and decor are stylish and simplistic. As a parent of a toddler, I appreciated that there were not a lot of breakable knick knacks or sharp edged furniture, etc. It didn’t take much to childproof. The closet built-ins and lack of bulky dressers in the bedrooms made them feel much more more spacious. The short walk to the beach was perfect and we enjoyed riding bikes around the island. As a whole, the house was clean but we did have to wash the top blanket in the master bedroom after discovering what I believe was coffee stains and hairs on it. Next time I would inspect more closely upon arrival rather than being surprised at bedtime. I know some people pack their own bedding and that may be a better practice. Overall, we truly had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Vacation!
Our vacation to Kiawah Island was one of the most relaxing and stress free trips we have ever had! The house was clean and well equipped for our family. It was a short walk to the beach and there were plenty of bike trails. Kiawah is breathtakingly beautiful! We will definitely stay here again.

Great Cottage!
We rented this house for a girls birthday weekend. There were three of us staying at the house so we each had a bedroom and one of us had a bathroom ensuite. The house looks like it has recently had an update and they decorated it so cute. It's a very comfortable house and the kitchen is well stocked. It's a short walk to the beach and the back porch is a nice place to have coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We will rent it again next year for sure!

Thanksgiving vacation!
Our immediate family had a wonderful time spending Thanksgiving at Kiawah. The weather cooperated and the activities on the island as well as at Freshfields
were well received by our kids. We participated in the Turkey Trot! The rental was spacious, clean, positioned well on the island and updated. Hillary was very responsive!

Great Family Vacation!
We stayed at Sparrow Pond for a multigenerational family vacation and had the best time! The house was clean and well-equipped and beautifully furnished! We were very comfortable. The only issue we had was with the grill (which was rusted through) but the management company came the next day with a brand new grill. And the location is ideal for little kids - very short walk to the beach and pool! I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful vacation!
We had an excellent stay at Sparrow Pond! We enjoyed the ease of the unit, from the easy walk to the beach and pool, as well as quick drive to Freshfields Village. The unit was clean, had been updated and just enough space for our stay of 5 people, 4 adults and 1 child. I would recommend updating the amount of cutlery as we found ourselves having to wash forks and spoons just to get through 3 meals a day, and also we had some issues with one of the drove top burners but other than that I would highly recommend and will return!

Quality Rental
We stayed in the cottage from mid-January to mid-February 2018. We found the property to be clean and well furnished. Our only issue during our stay was a slow draining sink which was corrected quickly. We had family and friends visit during our time at Kiawah. The place was comfortable for all. We would consider staying again.

Review of 1021 Sparrow Pond.
We had a very nice time & enjoyed our stay. We found everything we needed with no problem.The area of the property was quiet and getting around the area was easy.The only thing we found that could be helpful would be a clock in the master & 2nd bed rooms The 3rd bed room is very nice for younger children with the twin beds. We also enjoyed eating and shopping at Freshfields Village.

True Meaning of Vacation
We loved 1021 Sparrow Pond!! It was our first visit to Kiawah Island. The location of this cottage to the pool and beach was great. Very quite at night sitting out on the screen porch. Kitchen was well equipped. For 7 days we went to beach, pool and grocery store. Ate in every meal which was great with 2 kids. Kids loved to ride bikes around the island and take walks. They also loved having a TV in their room. Cottage was very clean.

Wonderful Experience
The rental company provided all pertinent information up front regarding our stay. The home was well maintained, and very clean upon arrival. We were just a short walk to the beach, which made it great for little kids. I contacted guest services a few times for some general information on the area, in which they were very helpful. One third night I contacted maintenance after hours due to the thermostat in the home malfunctioning. Their response was very quick, and the issue was easily resolved. This was a care free vacation for us.

We are long time Kiawah vacationers and were extremely satisfied with this property. The location is great. There were a few minor maintenance issues but otherwise, no problems at all. The issues were attended to promptly.

This was a great place to spend Thanksgiving with our family. The house is well laid out, clean and the decor was nautical and inviting. We would definitely stay here again. Just a short walk through the gorgeous neighborhood takes you to a pristine beach. The beach was quiet, the waters calm and your occasional bike rider and dog walker strolling by to greet you. A 5 minute drive takes you to restaurants, grocery store and quaint shopping. Overall, this was a place that I would recommend!!!

Very easy to follow instructions. Lockbox for key pickup, so no delays getting to the house. Place was great and very clean. No issues at all.

I would highly recommend this property and the rental agency. The house was exactly as described and seen in the photos and very clean. It is very close to two different beach access areas and the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The rental agency was amazing and very organized. The house comes with all the amenities you might need, which made it easy to cook dinner or even wash a load of clothes!

Beautiful place on a beautiful island
We were in Kiawah for a wedding and couldn't have been happier with the stay.. The condo was in great shape, well decorated with a wrap around deck.. It felt much larger than it was.. The island itself was stunning and our condo was very close to great beach entrances and a pool and tennis club(one of many on the island). We look forward to visiting again and would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place and ESPM to anyone.

Excellent weekend. 4 of us, unit was perfect size, nicely updated, great layout, very clean. Walk to beach was not far. Ended up leaving prescriptions in bathroom drawer. But Hillary from ESPM was excellent and overnighted them out to us. She was great to deal with thru the entire process.
Will definitely use ESPM again on our next trip to Kiawah - which hopefully will be soon! Highly recommend.

Great place to stay
Spent several nights for a girls weekend. Enjoyed our stay at this location. Nice quiet neighborhood with good accommodations. We rented bikes and never got in the car as everything you need is on this Island and biking is so easy with all the paths. Cottage was nice and the Island is beautiful.

Wonderful Kiawah Island Retreat
