1408 Shipwatch Rd is located in the West Beach Villas neighborhood and is a renovated one bedroom, one bath, efficiency style villa is located in West Beach Village. Its right across from the newly constructed conference center and Cougar Point Golf Course's brand new clubhouse and restaurant. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a flat screen television in the living room. Wireless is provided as well as a sofa bed in the living room for extra guests.
Take a short five minute walk or quick bike ride and you'll be at the ocean's edge in no time.(0.3mi) There are 10 miles of glorious beach to enjoy and you can ride your bike right on the hard packed sand.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights (not available in low season, late Oct to mid Mar) you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
As our guest you will receive:
Access to Kiawah's 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; the Sanctuary spa, shopping, dining, and family friendly resort activities including Kamp Kiawah. Free Wireless Internet Access; Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Property does have linen included. Additional housekeeping services are also available during your stay (mid-week clean or daily trash and tidy). Guests DO NOT have access to the resort pools (Night Heron Park, West Beach, or Tennis Club). If you have the time take a short trip (35-45 Minutes) to Charleston, America's most charming southern city. There you'll find world class dining, shopping and lots of history to explore.
Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

We loved it.
Very nice view from the back porch. The TV setup in the bedroom was really nice, although it stayed pretty warm in the bedroom itself. The showerhead was really cool. The kitchen setup was cute.

Super Satisfied Stay!
The condo was well stocked, clean, convenient location and quiet (except for the water feature - it was lovely but a bit too loud when you sat on the porch) Kiawah is beautiful. Riding bikes in the beach was a thrill, and the many trails were great, too. Condo is a bit pricey, but cheaper than the Sanctuary Resort. :)

Perfect Getaway
My wife and I came down for a long weekend once school was out and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The condo had everything that we needed and was a very short walk to the beach.

Perfect location for conference center and beach
This unit was beyond perfect for West Beach Conference center (literally right next door) and just across the street from beach access. We could not have asked for a better location. Unit was clean and well kept. I would say the bathroom was on the small side (especially for our family of 3 with a 5 year old) but our biggest complaint was the AC. We would turn it down, and notice an hour later it had been turned back up (presumably by an automatic schedule). There was very little airflow in the bedroom so you had to freeze out the living room to get some relief in the bedroom. Pillows could have been better and wished I would have brought my own, but otherwise bed was comfy. I'd stay here again if attending West Beach Conference Center in the future.

everything promised was delivered. quick walk to beach (rent a cart or bring one and you wont regret). great location and rental unit for two.

Excellent, Enjoying and Clean!
We absolutely loved our time in our rental unit. Not only was the unit updated and decorated well, it had all the amenities we needed included washer/dryer, wonderful shower, dishwasher, stove and full fridge, but it was also incredibly clean! The location was ideal that it was close to the beach, a short 1 minute walk across the street, and close for a short drive to many food options.
There was ton of wildlife that we saw daily including dolphins, deer and birds! We cannot wait to be back with the proper equipment to watch the baby turtles leave their nest and go to the water.
We will definitely be back!

West Beach condo
We stayed here for a week the end of April and had a wonderful time. About a five minute walk to the beach. The condo was very clean. The area was very quiet and a perfect location for a relaxing vacation.

Excellent stay!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay in West Beach! The villa was clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the queen bed with a king.

Perfect property
Perfectly located for easy bike trail and beach access, we really enjoyed our stay at this fantastic little villa. The entire place has been recently redone and has a wonderful open feel, very spacious for a one bedroom, and we really enjoyed the screened porch. The clean was excellent which, especially during Covid, is so important. ESPM was very good at communicating and were easy to work with, I'd definitely rent through them for future rentals on the island.

Weekend Getaway
This trip was the first time I vacationed alone and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! It was updated, clean and had everything I needed for a long weekend. I loved sitting out on the screened in porch in the morning and watching the fountain while reading. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful stay!
This condo was the perfect place to stay for a party of 2. It was less than 5 minutes from beach access and has a bike path right in front of the condo! It was so quiet and peaceful. Waking up to the fountain outside your back screened porch was the best added touch we could ask for. I stayed here for a week with my daughter during COVID and we could not have asked for a cleaner, safer place to quarantine. The house had all linens, towels, full kitchen, outdoor patio, netflix TV, comfortable bed, rain water shower (sometimes lacked on hot water). You name it, they had it! They were extremely accommodating. We had never received a parking pass to enter Kiawah and within an hour our host had went to the Kiawah office and had it there and printed, ready for us. Such a great place to stay and will definitely be staying here again!
