The West Beach Marsh View Observation Tower is just a few steps away. Check out Cougar Point Golf Course next door, or take the bike out for a leisurely ride down miles of paved scenic trails that wind along the island. Foodies can try out some local fare at favorites such as Loggerhead Grill, just under two miles away, or Hege's, less than four miles away. Heron Park Nature Center is an easy mile and a half drive, and, of course, the beach and boardwalks are all within a mile of your door. Things to know: Free WiFi Gas Grill Outdoor Shower Full Kitchen Fireplace not for guest use Bedding for 6, but home allows 8 guests Driveway/bump out - Two spaces available

Family get away
The rental was just as described. The views of the marsh were beautiful as we could see out the many windows and the deck. A quick walk to the beach from the rental was done everyday. The rental is z short drive from Freshfields for food or shopping. The rental is well equipped with everything you need for a memorable family vacation.

Fantastic Two Weeks Watching Birds in the Marsh
Gorgeous, expansive views of marsh and lots of birds to watch. This is a lovely home, and also the cleanest property we have rented on Kiawah in the past five years and many visits.

Wonderful stay!
House was great and views and location were amazing!
The views at high tide in the morning we’re spectacular! We usually stay on the beach so this was a nice change.
House was a quick bike ride to the beach and had everything our family of four needed! We rented a bike trailer and made it simple to take things to the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

First Kiawah Visit
Our stay at this property was the most relaxing vacation we've had. This was our first visit. Our entire family had something to amuse and interest them from day one through the "too soon" end of the week. We golfed at Cougar Point, Turtle point, and the Ocean Course. We rode bikes on the paths, took walks, sat on the beach( a short bike ride). We cooked out on the deck, viewed the sunrise, and watched dolphins swim and feed in the marsh. The view from the deck was spectacular. We went into Charleston on two nights and had great meals at Hall's Chop House and Magnolia's. On Kiawah we ate at Jasmine Porch and Atlantic room and Tamasso's. Every place was as good or better than the others. In other words, It was a great vacation and the family wants to return next year.

Gorgeous location
Overall we had a great time this past weekend. The home was set up well, had lots of amenities in the kitchen and was extremely comfortable. The home was spacious and perfect for two couples as well as families.

Gorgeous views
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in Nov. Wonderful comfortable home with an open layout but still a cozy feel. Unbeatable views from the entire upstairs living areas. Great kitchen, well stocked. All 3 bedrooms are downstairs, two are on the marsh side of the home so beautiful views through windows. We prefer a queen bed so stayed in that room, bed was comfortable. House also offers a king room and a twin bedroom. Great location close to the first gate and a quick walk to the lookout tower. This is a quiet cul de sac, so no thru traffic. We walked to the beach, maybe a 15 min. walk, and probably a 5-10 min bike ride. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing
Had family time. Very nice house. It is a different layout with the bedrooms downstairs. The appliances were new and they all worked.very nice area and you are close to nature.close to the beach. Just a short walk or you can drive to the beach walker park.found lots of sand dollars and star fish on the beach.very nice vacation area.

A Restful Stay
The house was was very peaceful and super clean. We enjoyed our family vacation here and would definitely rent this house again. The only hard part is crossing the major road with our kids to get to the beach and carrying our things. The house itself was perfect.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS
Every room in the house had the most amazing views of the marsh. House was artistically decorated with infinity ceilings as if one was sleeping below the clouds and changed with the light of day. For us, we got to know the owner somewhat as my wife enjoyed reading both of her books and we understand why this was her husbands favorite place in all of their travels. Extremely quiet. in fact we never heard anything outside of out conversations both inside and outside of the house. If you want to experience first hand the marshes of South Carolina, we highly recommend a stay here. There are numerous restaurants 15 or 20 minutes away and if you have to visit Charleston, it is 50 minutes away. If you are a golfer, Kiawah Island is golf Mecca (5 emaculate golf courses), also kayaking, paddle boarding, bike riding, fishing, marsh boat cruises...Harris Teeter grocery is 8 minutes away on the island for those who want to dine in. I would certainly use ESPM for any future vacation rental. They were courteous, most helpful, and there when you needed them..Thank you ESPM for the best vacation ever.......
