From the moment you arrive, the home feels welcoming rather than overwhelming — elegant without being fussy, spacious without feeling impersonal. Soft coastal interiors, natural light, and a flowing layout create an atmosphere that is both calming and effortlessly functional.
One of the home’s most appreciated features is the primary suite located on the main floor, offering privacy and convenience without stairs. The suite feels like a personal sanctuary, complete with a spa-inspired bath featuring a soaking tub and large walk-in shower — ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach or simply enjoying a slower morning.
The heart of the home is a beautifully appointed chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances and generous workspace — perfect for preparing meals together, whether it’s a quiet dinner for two or a lively family gathering. The open living and dining areas make it easy to stay connected while still offering plenty of room to spread out.
Outdoors, the home opens to a peaceful lagoon setting surrounded by mature oaks and palmettos — a serene Lowcountry backdrop that invites morning coffee, afternoon reading, or evening conversations. The private pool can be fully fenced off, offering added peace of mind when children are visiting, and can be heated upon request for an additional fee, allowing for comfortable swimming beyond the peak summer months. Nearby walking and biking paths lead to Marsh Island Park and Kiawah’s scenic observation tower, while the beach, golf, and dining are just a short ride away.
When family visits, everyone has their own space. Two additional queen bedrooms with private baths provide comfort and privacy for adult guests, while a charming bunk room gives younger visitors a place of their own — close enough to feel connected, yet thoughtfully separated.
The outdoor kitchen and seating area extend the living space even further, making it easy to enjoy relaxed meals, quiet evenings, or casual entertaining without ever feeling rushed. If there is a grill master in your group, they will love the massive grill and TV nearby — perfect for al fresco dinners, morning coffee, or game-day gatherings.
This home is about creating a place where time slows down, where hosting feels joyful rather than tiring, and where comfort, beauty, and practicality coexist.
Pool heat is available at $125/day, four-day minimum, not able to be heated if the temps are below 50 degrees. An in-home elevator is available upon request for mobility challenged guests only, it has easy access to all levels, making the house comfortable for guests of all ages and mobility levels.
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access;. Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay.
No smoking and no pets allowed. Please note the fireplace and garage are not accessible for guests and we do not allow events at the home. The house does have exterior monitors in the Ring doorbell, driveway, and back porch for your safety.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

Fantastic stay in Kiawah Island
We rented 350 Governors Drive for five nights and we could not have been happier. The house is absolutely stunning. Each room was decorated flawlessly, the high end appliances were easy to maneuver and the pool was pristine and the perfect size. The location was excellent. An easy 10 minute ride to the beach which was the highlight of our trip. We would definitely book this house on our next trip to Kiawah.

A Slice of Paradise on Kiawah Island
Our stay at this Kiawah Island home was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were completely taken by the natural beauty that surrounded us—and this home amplified it all with warmth, luxury, and thoughtful design.
The house itself is immaculate: spacious yet cozy, tastefully decorated, and filled with natural light. Every detail felt carefully curated, from the high-end furnishings to the plush bedding and spa-like bathrooms. The pool and backyard were beautifully and thoughtfully designed, seamlessly blending with the home to feel like an extension of the living space.
Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. We were just a short bike ride from the beach, steps from incredible walking trails, and a quick drive for groceries, shopping, and dining. Yet, even with so much nearby, the home felt incredibly private and peaceful… like our own hidden retreat.
Whether you’re here for golf, beach days, nature walks, or just a quiet place to reset, this house delivers it all. We left feeling refreshed, sun-kissed, and already planning our return. Truly one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed.

The 350 Governor drive is simply amazing! Beautifully appointed, very spacious, great pool. As a family, we rent houses all over the world when we travel and this one is best so far. It is much more impressive in real life compared to photos on the site. Would highly recommend if you want a Four Seasons rental home equivalent.

Beautiful new home
We had a wonderful time. The house had all of the comforts of home and the outdoor area was very nice and relaxing. It was also an easy bike ride to the beach (15min). Thank you for opening up your home. One thing I did want to mention is that there were several large bugs (palmetto bugs??) that when we’d come home from dinner and turn lights on we’d see them scurry out. We had to kill several, and one went under the rug by a bed. Hopefully, there’s an easy way to get rid of them. One other thing, the there is almost no storage/vanity space in the bathrooms, other than the master bathroom, which is beautiful and has a ton. Otherwise, the house is lovely!!

Gorgeous, wonderful vacation destination
This house is thoroughly charming. The photos fail to capture how wonderfully well-composed the house is and how ideal it is for relaxation. The surrounding areas are similarly calming and idyllic, with a world-class beach just a stone's throw away. The process of renting and using this home was simple and straightforward, and I'd highly recommend a stay. The pool in the rear is the house is great for kids and friends alike. You won't regret coming here.

This home fit my family nicely. Everyone had their own spaces. I would recommend a tv option in the bunk room. I had a 12 yr old and 18yr old boy sharing that room. They would have liked to connect their ps5. Otherwise, amenities were nice and comfortable. There were some random ants and palmetto bugs. Nothing crazy but sure to be expected in the area. We just took care of them as they showed. The management company was fantastic to work with. A very relaxing retreat.

Phenomenal Property and Stay!
Our stay at 350 Governor’s Drive was relaxing and enjoyable. The home is spacious, expressive and well equipped with everything you need. The house and location are filled with stunning beauty. We enjoyed the nearby beaches and highly recommend sunrise walks. The house has great access to the trails for biking and walking. There were many local restaurants to choose from during our stay - although we often just enjoyed cooking/grilling within the magnificent kitchen or outside patio. We enjoyed sitting by the pool to have coffee in the morning or reading in the afternoon. We recommend this property and would return for a future vacation. It was a pleasant experience working with ESPM. Thank you.

Incredible Property, Stunning Design.
Stayed at the house with 3 generations, The house is beautifully decorated, lots of space for everyone. Elevator was a big help for my elderly in-laws. Location is amazing, central to everything, biking distance to everywhere.
This house is elevated and gives you a feeling of living in a fairytale treehouse amongst beautiful trees. ESPM team are super professional and helpful. What an amazing vacation!

Kiawah at it’s finest
Wow! That’s the reaction we had when we stepped into this wonderful home where no detail was spared. Do the pictures do it justice? Almost - but it’s probably better is to see the real thing for yourself. Have an elderly parent that needs help up the stairs - no problem - there’s an elevator! Kids want a ride up because it’s fun - yessiree - elevator it is! Short car ride to the beach, or a good bike ride to all that Kiawah has to offer. We can’t wait to stay here again.
