New pictures just added! Stunning new remodel and now has 6 bedrooms, the pool area with cabana is the highlight of this bright and spacious home!
The coastal home at 39 Salt Cedar Lane delights inside and out, from the award-winning landscape design to the spacious, window-lined interior with details like lovely white trim and arched doorways--and spectacular views of Cinder Creek's serene marshes in the rear. A gracefully modern staircase curves up to a front porch with double entry doors flanked by Frank Lloyd Wright inspired windows. Inside, a generously sized great room with soaring ceilings, surrounded by two-tiered windows on three walls, takes advantage of the inspiring marsh views. There's a gas fireplace to one side and an open dining room to the other. The oak hardwood floors extend into an expansive, functional kitchen with a sunny breakfast nook, windows over the sink, and a glass door leading to a new sunroom with vaulted ceiling. The gas cooktop set into the center island is also new, and double wall ovens, two dishwashers, and an expansive Sub-Zero® refrigerator offer plenty of capacity for family gatherings. Both the sunroom and living room open onto a wide sundeck extending the width of the home. The highlight of the back area (aside from the amazing views of the marsh!) is the beautiful brand new pool and cabana area. The pool can be heated for $175 per day, four day min. Also on the main level a spacious master suite, tucked away in the corner for privacy. Its curved window wall frames views of the marsh, and a row of windows over the soaking tub in the bath offers more tranquil views reflected in a vanity mirror extending the width of the room. His-and-hers sinks, a large walk-in shower, and a wide walk-in closet with window complete the suite. Upstairs are four guest bedrooms with marsh views; one is en suite and enjoys a walk-in closet, while two share a full bath. Located in desirable Falcon Point on a private cul-dec-sac surrounding a pond and marshland on Kiawah's eastern tip, with access to the neighborhood's deep-water pier.

Beautiful home perfect for a large group
We rented this home for a family vacation with 8 adults, 1 3 year old, and 2 babies. It was perfect for our group, with plenty of room to spread out. The pool is beautiful and the perfect way to start the day with an eager to swim 3 year old. The kitchen is large and includes 2 dishwashers, which I initially thought was such an extravagance until we used both daily!

Perfect for a large family
We had 14 in our group. The house is very spacious and we did not feel cramped. It is very well stocked with spices, cooking pans, storage containers, and many other kitchen necessities. The house has 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers which we did not realize before arrival. This was very convenient for a large group like ours.
The pool was great and the view was amazing. I would highly recommend this house!
I gave the property management 3 stars because we called several times before our arrival with questions and the person answering the phone was not very helpful. It's hard when planning for such a large group and knowing what is in the house would be beneficial. We certainly overpacked the kitchen items because we didn't know the house was so well stocked.
Overall, this is a great house!

What this house offered us:
-Cognitive relaxation uncluttering the mind, causing us to think more clearly and boost creativity
-Enhanced our quality of sleep
-Improved mental health, activating greater well-being overall
-Increased mental and physical motivation
-Improved family relationships and created core memories
-Produced essential serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins
-Cured our seasonal affective disorder
-Bottom line: boosts happiness and is quicker than therapy. Facts.
The basic yet actual science behind it.
The negative ions in the air produced by the ocean activated an unmatched soothing state of mind. These oxygen atoms have an extra electron that can change the grey matter concentration in the brain regions associated with learning and memory processes, emotion regulation, and perspective-taking. Do you have teenagers? Read that again then. For people with toddlers, listening to the waves activated the parasympathetic nervous system, compelling us to slow down, relax, and feel more engaged. Listening to the ebb and flow of waves and the sea swell naturally soothed and relaxed us all.
The truth is that vacations can be stressful. For me, the pre-vacation stress of getting everything packed, making sure everyone isn't bored at any point during the trip, or the weight of impending deadlines, when I return to work, can take the fun out of my vacations. All the hard work and money spent to have time to relax means every penny is worth it. The owners of this home understood the assignment and submitted extra credit. Previous potential vacation problems were eliminated. This home is near an incredibly clean and well-organized (matters to me) Harris Teeter, pharmacy, and other retail shops for anything I could have forgotten or didn't want to haul to SC. This home had a beautiful private office with views that I swear changed the frequency of my brain waves. I am considering booking a work-from-home week, with friends, at a house instead of waiting for my next vacation. I would prefer to work in that office where I can open an email from someone like "Debbie in Compliance" and watch the low-country wildlife across the water, instead of sitting in a blindingly sterile office. Worth. It.
On standard vacations, we're with family members or the same group 24/7, and the closeness can accumulate stress and backfire a couple days in. If we needed a break from the togetherness, there was plenty of space on the property to spread out and take some "me time" without sacrificing that together vacation feeling. We were close to 5 awe-inspiring golf courses preferred by the PGA, excellent retail therapy, and award-winning beaches. The homeowners provided beach essentials for endless coastal recreation so we could enjoy the natural wonders Kiawah had to offer. We are talking miles of unspoiled beaches, nature walks, bike paths, world-renowned tennis facilities, boating, and fishing. Bonus points were given because Kiawah Beachwalker Park has seasonal lifeguards, allows dogs on leashes, and alcohol consumption on the sand was permitted. Sand? Puppies? Ice cold beer? YES!
Not an outdoorsy vacationer or wondering what if it rains? No problem. You are in close proximity to historic Charleston, which is kid-friendly and has THE nightlife for the adults.
A favorite for us was using the outdoor kitchen while the kids played in the spacious infinity pool. The home boasts an end-to-end length deck perfect for meditation, morning coffee, reading, or napping in the sun. We would still have had a thoroughly satisfying vacation if we had never left the premises. The house is set up for all family members to move about comfortably with activities AND SPACE. A convenient elevator made it easy for anyone who needed a break from the stairs. The homeowners have a place that was made just for kids to unwind after a day in the sun. The kids felt like it was a secret club just for them, and they LOVED it. I enjoyed playing board games and eating dinner in the sunroom with our kids during the sunset. We opened the windows allowing a cool evening breeze through the screens and listened to nature while I kicked my family's butt in board games. It was so simple but memorable for everyone. The home décor has the charm of a southern rom-com or HGTV house designed by Martha Stewart. I half expected Reese Witherspoon to walk in. Luxuriate in the feeling of new money while enjoying the timelessness of old money. Add the comfort level of a sleeping Disney princess, and you have this property.
The home owners and management company went out of their way to be noticeably superior. We will book again.

Family Vacation
We had a marvelous time with our adult children and grandbaby. The marsh view was gorgeous and so peaceful. The home is very well appointed dor a rental. The pool, outdoor kitchen, & living space was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The baby loves water and had a ball on the sun ledge, as well as floating and splashing in her float. Our daughter-in-law was able to work, remotely, from the lovely office, tho lost internet service a few times. The internet was spotty for all of us, in fact.

Amazing view and experience
My family and i needed to rent a home quickly and the team at ESPM was incredibly understanding and helpful.
The house looks even better in person. We ended up having 6 adults and 6 kids on and off and everyone was comfortable. There was no TV for kids in bunk room which i liked b/c they had to be with us more.
The outdoor space is the focus of the home and it does not disappoint. Great pool for lounging where you can watch sports from the water. The view is even better and never got old. Finally, the beach is a quick and easy 7 min bike ride where you will find a flat kid friendly and uncrowded atmosphere. Can't say enough good things and really appreciated the management's help. Will be back next year.
