Amazing new renovation, premier level property! Stunning kitchen with all new appliances, renovated bathrooms, new furnishings, new layout!
With a location just 200 yards from the Atlantic Ocean and beach, 409 Amaranth Road is a classic Kiawah Island retreat with ample space for the whole family with four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and 2,408 square feet.

Located perfectly between West and East Beach, residents of 409 Amaranth Road enjoy close proximity to all of Kiawah’s many amenities including award-winning golf and tennis, parks and trails, and the excellent shopping and dining at Freshfields Village.

Entertaining is a breeze here. The functional kitchen features hardwood cabinets and a center island that provide ample storage. It opens to the adjacent dining room. A large wet bar offers additional cabinets and storage, glass shelving, and bar sink.

Glass doors just off the living room open to tiers of decks that overlooking the beautiful lagoon waters and lush natural setting. Expansive enough for a grilling area and outdoor living the space, this is the ideal spot to sit back and relax!

A first-floor guest suite enjoys exquisite lagoon views, hardwood flooring, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The second floor is open to below with a comfortable home office located at the top of the stairs.

The master suite is spacious with wall-to-wall carpet, a walk-in closet, and large bathroom with expansive vanity and his-and-her sinks and a tub/shower combination. Two additional guest bedrooms on the second floor also have their own bath.

No smoking and no pets allowed.

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

Beautiful property in very serene, quiet neighborhood. Beach access was an easy 3-4 minute walk via pathway near the property. Home was clean and fit the purpose of family's stay. Everyone had their own bathroom and that made it highly successful as far as traveling with our adult children. We also loved the kitchen. All appliances worked and were clean.

2nd Family vacation in this beautiful home
Only thing missing is a screened porch and a relaxing chair in the upstairs master.
Our family of 7 adults simply love this home. It was really clean upon arrival. When we walk in a home and its clean with fresh updated furnishings we know we are in a home that a family cares about. Each bedroom having a private bath is wonderful. Parking is exceptional as we are all coming from 4 different locations requiring 4 vehicles. The location is perfect as we often have additional family renting in Ocean Woods. Its an easy walk to the beach. (We love the little secret path.) Kitchen and Laundry area are perfect. We appreciated the additional artwork & updated seating which have been added since our first trip in 2021. We had a minor issue with the upstairs AC upon arrival. We shared the concern early Sunday morning and a repairman was on site before noon. Exceptional property management. We hope to rent here again in the future.

Lovely Home
The house is wonderful! So nice and well laid-out. We enjoyed our stay. I do wish it had been closer to the beach or the main paths - we couldn't find any shortcuts to get to the main drag or the beach faster. Home was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay there. It's beautiful and perfect for everyone to have their "space".

Manager Response: Thank you so much for your helpful feedback! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at the house, right at the end of this cul de sac there is a cut through (not paved) to the neighboring Oceanwoods area (Sea Lavender) and you can take that street straight to the beach for easiest access, only about 5 minutes or 200 yards roughly to the beach access from there.

The property was as described. Several bedrooms did not have TV. not a big deal. Property was clean and spacious. Would rent again.

2021 kiawah marathon trip
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and as the first time we really enjoyed our stay! The home is in great shape and everyone enjoyed staying there. I did want to mention that my daughter said The first floor shower appears to have a small leak out to the bathroom floor that you may want to look into.

Fabulous family vacation
We loved the home from start to finish. There was plenty of room to spread out and had a great living area for quality family time. We enjoyed the back deck immensely while watching a family of alligators from a safe distance! The beach was a quick walk.

Friends Weekend Getaway
We love this house. Is is bright, beautiful, well appointed, on a quiet street. The back deck with its lagoon sets a beautiful view for relaxing/cocktails. Easy walk to the beach and only 2 miles to Freshfields.
4 adult couples stayed for 4 days, everyone agreed that the house is a winner.

We loved this home. Our party consisted of 8 adults. We found the kitchen to be well appointed, the beds to be comfortable and the view of the lagoon very relaxing. The area was very quiet and full of nature sounds. The home was sparkling clean. Parking accommodated 4 car's. It was a quick 3.5 minute walk to the beach via the path near the home, yes I timed it. The only thing missing was a covered or screened porch which would have been nice on the rainy days. We would rent here again.

Very nice house
Was reminded firmly not to arrive early, before 4 PM or would be charged early arrival fee. Arrived 4:15, property was not ready, cleaners still working. Called first listed number got answering machine, called service number and person answering said he would be there in 5 minutes. He arrived, helped cleaners, another person arrived, supervisor we assume and by 4:45 we were unloading our provisions. Minor cleaning issues left over, ie popcorn under bed, trash under can liner etc. overall clean enough. The location is great, easy walk to the beach. Baby alligators in lagoon behind property almost appeared tame. Would stay again.

Our stay at 409 Amaranth was wonderful . The perfect relaxing beach/family vacation . The house was spacious for our family of 5. The Kitchen had everything we needed and we were also given a brand new toaster for my daughters who have celiacs and couldn't use the one already in the home. The house was CLEAN throughout, Partially updated , New washer and dryer , Beautiful backyard deck where we watched baby alligators in the lagoon. We rented Bikes, Chairs and umbrellas which were already dropped off at the property when we arrived. Beds were comfortable . If I had to make a suggestion it would be to update the bath towels which were on the thin rough side and also to supply some beach towels . We have rented other Kiawah homes where owners have supplied nice beach towels. OTHERWISE it was a perfect week spent at a beautiful home, perfectly located 2 min bike ride to the beach . WE would return to this home!

We had a lovely stay at 409 Amaranth! We made amazing memories and were very happy with our stay. I feel like this home was undergoing a re-style due to the lack of decor, etc. This did not affect our stay in the least- but certainly worth mentioning. All in all, we’d rent it again a thousand times over! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

They started with essential items and are working down to the small details such as the decor, that's definitely on the list though and we hope you will be back soon to see the new changes!

Great home!
A bit pricey, but location is great. Mattresses and towels need updating but there is plenty of space and walking distance from the beach. Construction next door started at 7am which was a negative
