This beautiful, newly renovated three-bedroom villa is one of the cypress and cedar-shingled Mariner’s Watch Villas (#4214) reminiscent of turn-of-the-century seaside cottages. Offering the closest villa location to the beach and ocean and featuring a private staircase leading from the rear deck directly onto the boardwalk—this is the quintessential coastal retreat.
This oceanfront villa features a spacious, open floor plan with breathtaking ocean views from the kitchen, living and dining area, and even the master suite. The great room showcases white, beamed ceilings, sprawling ocean views. and ship-lap walls. The fully appointed, sizable kitchen features everything a chef would need, ample counter space and a breakfast bar perfect for grabbing a bite before heading out to the water. Best of all, the kitchen is open to the Great Room, so the chef won't ever miss a part of the fun or conversation.
Bedding will include 2 king bedrooms and the third guest room with two twins along with a pull out sofa for an additional guest.
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access; Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Additional housekeeping services are also available during your stay (mid-week clean or daily trash and tidy).
There is no grill available, nor is one allowed, due to Kiawah Island safety regulations imposed upon villas.

Beutiful ocean front getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed the home. The ocean view was gorgeous, the kitchen was a dream to work in, and it was a nice touch to have the smart tv with streaming apps already loaded and available for us to use in the evenings. The only feedback for area of improvement would be to have better lighting in the bathrooms. The current lightbulbs are simply too dim, other than that, all was perfect.

Beautiful condominium- Very tastefully re-modeled.
We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday and it was a wonderful celebration. The weather was cool yet beautiful so we rode bikes and had lunch at The Player's Club at the Ocean Course.

What a beautiful condo and location. Everything was spotless, the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking things we needed. The decor and views were awesome. Loved the easy walk down the boardwalk to the beach. We'll be back!

Absolutely Stunning! "Our New Home Away From Home"
We couldn't have been happier with our Villa. It was absolutely beautiful with no detail overlooked. The views from the deck and from inside were just perfect and it's mins away from everything we love on the island in way of resorts, restaurants, the nest etc. We are already looking to book our next stay!

Nice layout
The condo was very nice. Several nice nooks to sit for reading. Close to the ocean so you can hear the waves at night with open windows. Bathroom layout was nicely done...large open shower, private commode area. Kitchen area was large. Quiet dishwasher. Overall, a good condo for a couple or a small family. The only negative is the high dune behind the condo. This prevented an open view of the ocean directly behind the condo. The ocean is visible to the sides, but not directly behind. Great beach however. Easily accessible from the condo.

Amazing property, highly recommend.
This property was everything and more then the listing showed. Staff was excellent and the property was extremely clean. I would highly recommend this property. My only complaint is they should trim the dunes behind the unit. They were higher then behind any other unit and in my opinion took away from it being a true ocean front. Your view of the ocean was completely blocked except for the side views. If you want full ocean view I’d rent upstairs or another unit. Other then that the property was perfect.

Pretty good beach condo -
Location was the the very best thing about the condo. very close to the beach. Good layout. Pretty clean.
Having stayed at many different condos and houses at Kiawah over the years:
Negatives - main one is that you could hear people in the upstairs unit walking around and talking through the ceiling. More insulation between the two unit or a rug in the upstairs bedroom would help.
The bathrooms / showers are very tight in space, especially the bedroom closest to the front door.
The toilets are very low to the ground and it would be nice to replace them with comfort height toilets.
The dishwashing machine needs to be looked at, the cycles took 4 hours to clean.

Kiawah Beachfron Get Away
very beautiful oceanfront condo - kitchen well stocked. A few recommendations for a condo of this high quality - bedrooms had 2 pillows per bed. In the closet were 2 more pillows but no pillowcases. Few blankets to be found. Maybe stock the bathroom with more than 1 night supply of shampoo/lotion. Also, please include at least one night supply of coffee. Very clean condo and exactly as expected per description. We biked, even down to the Ocean Course for lunch. Walking on the packed, clean beach was a highlight. The tennis center was interesting. Although not busy, it seemed impossible to get a hard court so we played on clay twice. They will also need to add pickle ball courts somewhere. The main tennis center only has 4 and they are also hard to reserve. My biggest complaint is that I went to the Tennis Center asking for a court at 8:15 (I was there at 8 and they were open), there was NO ONE on the courts and they told me, "Yes, you can have a court at 8:30". What? I was trying to get on with my day and there was no reasonable explanation for not allowing us to start then and have an hour. Customer service not what I expect on Kiawah - obviously a Kiawah problem, not a rental issue.

For the most part great! Hot water heater is NOT good. Twin beds not comfortable for kids so would be really hard for adults! Insanely awesome location, great lay out! Nicely stocked kitchen, beautifully decorated and very very clean upon arrival. Loved all of the seating! Island with all of the bar stools was outstanding! Deck furniture amazing! Spectacular luxury (turn key) experience
From the very initial point of contact with ESPM vacation rentals, this entire experience has exceeded my expectations.
The booking process was easy. The payment process was straight forward and simple.
The staff at ESPM was happy to field multiple phone calls to answer a barrage of questions from us -- first-time vacation property renters.
And the property was better than advertised... it was completely remodeled, spotlessly clean and very inviting.
ESPM provided everything from resort access credentials to parking passes and provided a seamless transition for key acquisition and return.
All the way around, this was a completely stress-free experience for a property that was simply exceptional in every way.
I highly recommend this property. (Admittedly my standards are very high. This property and management company really delivered.) A++

Just amazing.
We stayed in this villa with my 3 children and father. There was plenty of room for everyone, everything was updated, the walk to the beach was perfect. The only issue is that the dunes are overgrown and you don't have a straight view of the ocean.

WONDERFUL!!
Met friends over over 40 years, and hadn't seen for 15 years! We ALL were blown away by how beautiful the home was and the proximity to the beach. We drove to Charleston for dinner and sightseeing, and also explored Kiawah sights and restaurants. Will be back!

Excellent Birthday Getaway
The property at 4214 Mariners Way was immaculate. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The proximity to the Ocean was great. Walk off the deck and you are on the board walk. We had views from the left and the right of the ocean. The proximity to restaurants and grocery store at Freshfields was very convenient. Property was clean and everything was maintained and in working condition. I would recommend and would love to stay again!

We Came Back Again!
We just love this Villa, so much so we came back just 4 months later! The layout is just perfect for our family of 5. The decor is beautiful and the villa is so comfortable. You can come right in and immediately relax. We love how well-equipped the kitchen is, we order out most nights, but if you are staying in, there is plenty of kitchen gear to get meals on the table fast. The view is beautiful, and you just can't beat the steps off the boardwalk to the beach. We just love it here! If you're looking for beachfront on Kiawah, you will not go wrong with this villa. It is perfect!

Spectacular Villa
We have been vacationing in Kiawah for 25 years and this villa is the best view and most beautiful we have ever rented. Furnishings and decor were beautiful, lovely open concept. Plenty of room for 4 generations of family to enjoy a vacation. My 90 year old mother loved the ocean views and enjoyed sitting on the porch every day. Will most definitely book again!

Our Favorite Island Getaway
Great spot for our family reunion with our adult children, our third visit to Kiawah. This luxury unit has been updated and is very nicely decorated - a sheer pleasure to occupy. Dinner at The Fat Hen is our family tradition. Always a great visit to Charleston with dinner at Magnolia's - best shellfish and grits around. Bird watching while boating on Bohiket Creek is a delight. Great beach for walking or just hanging out.

Best Kiawah Rental to date
We have been visiting Kiawah for the last 10 years. We love the island so much, we are considering retiring there. Mariners Watch was the perfect spot for our family and the renovation was top notch. The unit was spacious, open floor plan and very well equipped. Location was ideal. This will be where we return for many visits.

Beautiful Oceanfront Villa
We loved this villa! We've been visiting Kiawah for years and always return to Mariner's Watch--this villa is gorgeous. The decor is beautiful, not too beachy but very comfortable and perfect for relaxing. The layout was fantastic for our family of 5. You can't beat the 1 minute walk to the beach. Only complaints would be that the thicket in front is quite high, which we understand can't be tamed due to conservation, but just to be aware of in comparison to other villas. Also, the lock on the front door was extremely difficult to use and should probably be replaced. We contacted the rental company twice and never heard back about this issue. However, these were minor issues and we would return here in a heartbeat. Absolutely loved it.

A beautiful property right on the beach. Nice location in East beach where you could easily walk or bike to market and Sanctuary. Unit was tastefully decorated and had every thing we needed. Perfect for a family with small children.

Winter Getaway
We loved the location and the condo and would certainly return. We were, however, disappointed that the dune in front of this first floor unit had not been trimmed as all other units appeared to be. This meant that the view looking straight ahead to the ocean was compromised. That was our only criticism.

Charleston ice storm
Not as planned, as literally iced in for 2+ days with no island restaurants open, no access to mainland, and no ability to correct frozen pipe, frozen steps maintenance issues. However, unit was excellent and a very comfortable place to ride out the conditions.

Relaxing Getaway...
We have been visiting Kiawah for twenty years now...Beautiful unit on the beach...not a thing would we have changed. Super easy check-in...everyone very helpful! The favorite spot in the unit was the fabulous "recliner nook" overlooking the beach which was perfect for reading/napping. For the older folks looking to stay here (my mother-in-law traveled with us) or people with bad knees, just know going in that there are a lot of steep steps getting down to the beach. Probably not a surprise, but thought it worth mentioning. A beautiful place to stay. Would love to visit again!

Perfect rental for a beach getaway
Our six person family had a great stay at this property. It has easy access to the beach which was a huge selling point for us. The decor was nice and bright and the place was very clean. Overall, it was a great vacation spot and we would rent it out again. The only negative was they did not provide beach towels so we had to go into Fresh Fields to buy some.

It's a JUST RIGHT kind of place!
Our stay at 4214 Mariners Watch was a great experience in all respects. The home was beautiful, functional and perfectly located to enjoy the beach as much or little as each of us chose. It's a scenic beach stroll to restaurants at Sanctuary and we appreciated ESPM's help to arrange bikes and beach chairs for our perfect week!
