49 Sunlet Bend is a lovely, riverfront cottage in popular neighborhood with access to Inlet Cove community amenities such as dock and pool.
You'll enjoy sweeping views and perfect sunsets from our screened-in porch or professionally landscaped backyard and if you're lucky, you might be home when the pods of dolphins swim by on their way to Captain Sam's inlet where they strand feed.
You can cast a line or drop a crab pot right from the Inlet Cove community dock, also equipped with a kayak launcher. We can assist with scheduling a charter boat to pick you up right from the dock or rent some kayaks for your stay (no personal boats allowed please). Sparkling Inlet Cove pool access is included (typically open mid April to mid October).
Take a short walk or quick bike ride and you'll be at the ocean's edge in no time.(0.5mi) There are 10 miles of glorious beach to enjoy and you can ride your bike right on the hard packed sand.
This lovely cottage is comfortably equipped. Three bedrooms and two baths ensures plenty of space for your group. A newly renovated kitchen, complete with a wet bar, breakfast area, and dining room. Spacious living area with flat screen tv. There is a gas grill off the back deck as well.
No pets allowed. Non-smoking only.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights (not available in low season, late Oct to mid Mar)you will receive a valuable credit of up to $210 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2012 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access; Our Local Property Management team is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Additional housekeeping services are also available during your stay (mid-week clean or daily trash and tidy).
If you have the time take a short trip (35 Minutes) to Charleston America's most charming southern City. There you'll find world class dining, shopping and lots of history to explore.
Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

Needs updating
We love the location and view of this property but unfortunately not much has changed in the last 3 years. The bedding is minimal and needs more pillows, pillow cases, and blankets/duvets. The knives were completely dull and everything was a little grimey. The master shower does not drain. The place could use updating for sure but we love the location and view so we keep coming.

49 Inlet Cove, A good cottage with a great view.
My family’s overall experience at Inlet Cove was wonderful. Although our particular cottage is in need of refurbishing as done by other cottages , the view at this property far surpasses most. We enjoyed the unobstructed view of daily activities of birds and marine life from our deck. In addition, the location was also very convenient to the beach, community pool, and other Kiawah activities.

Private and Perfect
We were looking for private and we found it. The view from the living room and screened in porch is amazing. You can't see anything resembling a human. The inside of the house was also great, comfortable bed, strong water supply in the shower, plenty of amenities in the kitchen with all new appliances and updated bathrooms.

We love being before the gate into Kiawah, easy access to both the river and beach, and a community pool. Everything is just an easy bike ride away.

A enjoyable 2023 vacation.
Having renting several vacation cottages at Inlet Cove in the past,49 Sunlet Bend was the best facility we have experienced. Being retired seniors my wife and I wanted a week of relaxation without problems with a rental unit. We got our wish as we were allowed to pursue our primary interest of fun and entertainment.

We love visiting kiawah and especially love this Villa's location on the kiawah River! The house has everything you need but it is definitely getting worn in. My kids and I would prefer more pillows and blankets on the beds. The grill did not work for us. The tv in the queen room did not work for us either.

Terrific family get away
Loved, loved this home. Location was terrific. Our family of 4 had lots of space and it felt like home. Kitchen is well fitted with anything you could need. We cooked every night and had all the tools we needed. Hope to stay again in the future!

Overall it was great. I only wish the grill was clean and the gas tank was still in open position so I never used. The shower liners were also moldy

What a view
I could have sat on the porch forever. The view was amazing all day long. The house is in a quiet, gated neighborhood and just a short bike ride to the beach. The kitchen had most all the dishes and utensils we needed to prepare our meals. The two larger beds were comfortable but the teenager said the twin beds weren’t so comfortable.

Best view ever!
The house is updated and charming. The location is convenient, and the view of the river is intoxicating! We could’ve sat there watching the dolphins all day! The community pool and dock are a lovely and peaceful addition. We will definitely be renting this again!

Family Vacation in Kiawah
We always stay in Inlet Cove when vacationing at Kiawah Island. This was first time in this rental. Great views of Inlet. Property was modern and in great shape. We enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

Kiawah Island River Cottage
Fantastic week in 49 Inlet Cove. Watched beautiful sunsets and dolphins swim past from the screen porch, kids rode bikes to the beach and the Fresh Fields. Fantastic location. At the end of the first day we were already planning our next trip there.

Everything we could hope for! Great location, super views of the Kiawah River. Loved having the neighborhood pool access. Close to the beach and easy to walk or bike. Clean, comfortable, and all the amenities we needed.
